• 2017 - Hurricane Irma - Naples Florida

    Over a period of 2 months, Next Level Disaster Relief deployed to Bonita Springs and Naples, Florida, to aid in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma. Our impacts- - -

    • Provided debris cleanup and chainsaw services to a 310 unit, 65 and older mobile home park that experienced severe wind and storm surge damage as they’re located directly on the Gulf Intracoastals.

    • Facilitated street sweeping operations to alleviate tire damage to residents and emergency service vehicles.

    • Coordinated, organized and delivered a 26’ box truck filled with 12,000 pounds of food, water and essential donations to residents and those returning to do damage assessment.

    • Performed demolition and gut services to approximately 15 units to remove water logged furniture, sheetrock, carpets and other debris to facilitate interior drying.

    • Provided comfort, aid and assistance to approximately 1,000 residents after Hurricane Irma.

  • 2017 - Hurricane Harvey - Orange Texas

    Next Level Disaster Relief provided comfort and aid to Orange, Texas, after the passing of Hurricane Harvey. Our impacts- - -

    • Communicated with an underserved, elderly population center in Orange, Texas, and we coordinated the donation of essential supplies for them.

    • With a team of over 30 people, we filled a 26’ box truck with over 10,000 pounds of food, clothing, hygiene products, pet supplies and water.

    • By generous donations of gift cards from a local senior center, Next Level Disaster Relief was able to hand out over $2,000 to residents affected by Hurricane Harvey.

    • Provided comfort, aid, emotional and physical assistance to approximately 500 residents after Hurricane Harvey.

  • 2017 - Hurricane Maria - Puerto Rico

    Next Level Disaster Relief worked diligently to collect essential donations for the residents affected by Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico. In 2 days, we were able to collect over 8,000 pounds of food, water, essential hygiene products and pet food. Unfortunately, due to constraints in logistics chains, we were disappointedly unable to get these donations across the ocean to their intended target. However, the donated goods were redirected to the Charlotte’s Second Harvest Food Bank where they went to good use in our local community.

  • 2018 - Hurricane Florence - Rocky Point NC

    Over a period of 2 months, Next Level Disaster Relief deployed to their home state of NC, specifically, Burgaw and Rocky Point, to aid in the aftermath of Hurricane Florence. Our impacts- - -

    • With over 10,000 pounds of donated food, water, hygiene products and pet supplies, we set up on Highway 1411 in Pender County as a distribution point. Utilizing boats, we transported approximately 5,000 pounds of food to a community cut off by the flooded Northeast Cape Fear River. It had been over 72 hours since they received any help.

    • Similarly, NLDR utilized Highway 210 in Rocky Point for donation distribution. Utilizing our makeshift flotilla, the remaining 5,000 pounds of food were distributed to another cut-off community. Next Level Disaster Relief was the first group to provide assistance after Hurricane Florence to this group.

    • Performed demolition and gut services to approximately 15 units to remove water logged furniture, sheetrock, carpets and other debris to facilitate interior drying.

    • Provided comfort, aid and assistance to approximately 2,500 residents after Hurricane Florence.

  • 2019 - Hurricane Dorian - Myrtle Beach SC

    Next Level Disaster Relief set up a staging location in Murrells Inlet, SC, to pre-position for any potential impacts during Hurricane Dorian. Although there was a lot of rain, wind and surge, our services were not needed and we demobilized in the late evening on the day it made landfall.

  • 2021 - Hurricane Ida - New Orleans LA

    Next Level Disaster Relief deployed in the early morning hours to New Orleans, LA, to aid and assist the Cajun Navy with responses, rescues and storm related clean up. With our expertise, we helped the Cajun Navy secure a Base of Operations in Lafitte, LA, in the parking lot of a Walmart. From there we were able to help the most amount of people affected by this Hurricane. Our Impacts - - -

    • Provided chainsaw operations to access numerous communities due to down trees and storm debris.

    • Set up billeting area for responders and volunteers.

    • Identified and set up a location for donation drop-off and distribution. This one location served over 4,000 people in one week.

    • Aided in the coordination of World Central Kitchen to provide food to responders, volunteers and residents in the community affected by Hurricane Ida.

    • Provided tarping services to approximately 20 residents to prevent further water damage inside their homes.

    • Performed demolition and gut services to 10 residents to help remove water logged furniture, sheetrock, carpets and other debris to facilitate interior drying.

    • Provided comfort, aid and assistance to approximately 10,000 residents during our deployment to Lafitte, LA.

    • Helped distribute nearly 6,000 meals with the Cajun Navy and World Central Kitchen.

  • 2022 - Hurricane Ian - Bonita Springs FL

    Next Level Disaster Relief returned to Bonita Springs, FL, 4 years after their response to Hurricane Irma, to aid in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian...and worked with many of the same residents we worked with previously. Our impacts- - -

    • Next Level Disaster Relief was the first response organization to gain access to the Spring Creek Village, a 310 unit mobile home community. Approximately 80% of the residences were uninhabitable.

    • NLDR coordinated with the HOA President to create a single access point into the community to prevent looting. We also coordinated with local law enforcement to arrange for increased patrols and safety checks.

    • Facilitated street sweeping operations to alleviate tire damage to residents and emergency service vehicles.

    • Assisted many residents with generator operations, fueling and maintenance.

    • Coordinated food delivery with World Central Kitchen and helped provide over 2,000 meals during our week long deployment.

    • Coordinated with local churches to bring in additional faith based disaster response organizations to help with demolition and construction.

    • Performed demolition and gut services to approximately 5 units to remove water logged furniture, sheetrock, carpets and other debris to facilitate interior drying.

    • Provided a listening ear, a shoulder to cry or lean on and a calm word to help get these residents back on their feet after devastation.

    • Provided comfort, aid and assistance to approximately 500 residents after Hurricane Ian.

  • 2023 - Hurricane Ian - Bonita Springs FL & Microburst in Cherryville NC in Summer 2023

    Next Level Disaster Relief returned to Bonita Springs, FL, to continue work following Hurricane Ian in 2022. We were able to help 3 residents complete the tear out and rebuild of their homes.

    During some strong summer storms in our home state of NC, we responded to the town of Cherryville to assist in cleanup efforts following a microburst.

    Next Level Disaster Relief was also accepted into the NC Volunteer Organizations Active in Disasters (NC VOAD) where we work together with other disaster response organization to facilitate coordinated and efficient service to disaster survivors after any emergency or severe weather disaster. This membership allows us to be utilized more frequently to fulfill unmet needs during any emergency. This allows us to also be part of the Emergency Service Functions (ESF) for the State of NC Division of Emergency Management.

  • 2024 - Winter Severe Weather - Metrolina Region NC

    Next Level Disaster Relief patrolled and was available for assistance following severe weather in Central NC.
